The Real Jeff scene 1

Characters

Mr. Tucker: 6’ 1” tall. Have a military style haircut. Is a teacher for a film production class for the two main protagonists. He has a tough guy kind of beard. Really clam doesn’t really get mad at anybody.

Freddy: the Main Protagonist

Mike: the second protagonist

Jeff: 5’ 6” tall. Wearing a white hoodie splattered with blood, black jeans with dirt on them, long brown hair singed to jet black color. His face has a leather feel to it and is ghost white. His cheeks have a smile cut into them so he doesn’t have to keep smiling. His eyelids have been burned off so he can never sleep and he can always see himself in the mirror.

Act 1

(the scene opens with two boys sitting at a round table staying late after school to try and get caught up on their school work)

Freddy: (looks at mike) hey mike did you notice that if we flunk this final exam we fail this class and we can’t afford that

Mike: (sighs and looks at Freddy) you are always stressing out about your grades and yea I understand if we fail the final exam we lose credit for the class.

Freddy: (closes laptop) well lets go ask the teacher if there is any extra credit that we can do to get a higher grade.

Mike: (closes laptop and looks at Freddy) I suppose we could do that but I doubt he will. We have done everything for this class

(Freddy and Mike walk up to the teacher’s desk)

Mr. Tucker: (looks at the two boys) Hello boys, how may I help you?

Freddy: Hi Mr. Tucker, (looks at his best friend standing next to him) We were wondering if there is anything we could do for extra credit before the final exam next week?

Mr. Tucker: (looks at the two boys) I’m afraid you two have done everything I have asked you guys to do, there is really not much more for you two to do as of this point in the semester.

Mike: (crosses arms) Come on Mr. Tucker there has to be something we can do to boost our grade up to where it doesn’t matter if we flunk the exam.

Mr. Tucker: (sighs and looks at his laptop) Well there is one thing that you could do, boys

Freddy: (smiles largely) Really, What is it?

Mr. Tucker: (looks at the two boys) You can use this camera to make a documentary about someone that is in your family or on a complete Stranger.

Freddy: (smiles and shakes Mr. Tuckers hand) Thanks Mr. Tucker!

(Mike and Freddy walk back to their seats and start talking about the extra credit project)

Freddy: (sit in his seat) So, what are we going to do this project on?

Mike: (sits next to Freddy) We could do it on your dad.

Freddy: (sighs) No I want to do it on something that someone has never thought about doing. Like we could find someone that has been missing for a while and interview them on where they have been.

Mike: (looks at Freddy) Have you ever heard of Jeff the killer?

Freddy: (looks at mike a bit confused) No I haven’t, who is he?

Mike: (opens up his laptop and types in Jeff the killer and a news article pops up) Jeff is a crazy psychotic, serial killer that killed his entire family one night. His name was Jeffrey woods, after a fight at a kid’s birthday party with a few bullies he awoke in the hospital with ghost white skin, his skin has a leathery feel to it. His hair singed from brown to jet black. Last time he was seen was 2 years ago in a white blood spattered hoodie with black jeans.

Freddy: (eyes widened) He really killed his entire family?

Mike: (nods) Yes he did.

Freddy: (looks down) So you want us to find a crazy psychopathic killer?

Mike: it’s just a suggestion.

Freddy: (shakes his head) No

Mike: (sighs) ok it was just an idea

Freddy: (packs up all of his stuff) lets just go to my house.

Mike: (already has his stuff on his back) I agree

(the two students leave the school building and go home)
